We prefer primary documents, official statements, reputable interviews and established publications with clear editorial responsibility. Anonymous or low-quality sources should not be the sole basis for significant claims.
Fairness and context
Coverage should avoid misleading omissions and should give readers enough context to understand what is known, what remains disputed and why the subject matters.
Rumours and private lives
We do not treat speculation as fact. Personal information should be included only when it is already public, relevant to the story and handled proportionately.
Artificial intelligence and editing tools
Digital tools may assist with research organisation, transcription, spelling or structure, but published claims remain subject to human editorial responsibility and source checking.
